Welcome! to El Zarape.




We have the best Mexican food west of State Street, in the heart of the Westside. Our recipes are authentic with a touch of Zacatecas and Guanajuato. The ingredients are always fresh.



Our menu is packed with classic dishes we create from scratch. Daily specials incorporate seasonal, local ingredients. Burritos, Tacos, Tortas, Caldo, Menudo, Carnitas and our famous Birria!



Located in the heart of Santa Barbara's Westside, El Zarape is well known for its special catered evets, the famous Tacos de Birria de Chivo (goat meat in a mexican sauce) during Fiesta.
